Windows 10; iTunes and FLAC?

#1

1. Why is there not a Vox version for Windows 10? Why are they ignoring a huge and majority percentage of computer users?
2. Why does Vox rely on iTunes? iTunes is garbage. Why not build their app so it takes advantage of lossless players like FiiO, Sony and Pono? iTunes DOES NOT play FLAC files but the other do? So why would a company like Vox focus on the FLAC format and integrate iTunes when iTunes does not support or play FLAC? I am scratching my head about this.

Thank You for Your questions.

1) It's in our plans but requires much more resources than we currently are ready to use. Some of our technologies used in Vox will soon be available on all platforms including Windows. Keep eye on us to be aware when and what.

2)

Vox does not rely on iTunes in any way. It's like saying that Vox relies on SoundCloud or YouTube, which Vox doesn't either.

iTunes is just one of many VOX's music sources we keep supported because majority of mac users have originally had music in iTunes library (including lossless ALAC/AIFF/WAV/CAF files). We want Vox to play everything it has access too, so why shouldn't it play iTunes lib also?

Vox has many other sources and features except this, iTunes is not our priority at all (we don't stream Apple Music, for example). We are playing APE, TTA, MPC, DSD and many more lossless formats, not just FLAC, so I feel like saying that Vox is lossless player more than any other mac player out there.

Hope this helps, have a good day and welcome back should You have any further questions.
