Vox on Mac Does Not Display All Albums/Files in Library

#1

I have noticed that the Vox on Mac does not display all of albums/files when compared to the iPhone. Is this a known issue? Some of these albums cannot be found even when searched.

Hello,
Thank you for using our app!
I assume you are talking about albums in LOOP cloud. Have you tried to re-login to LOOP on both platforms and check again?

Yes. It does not help. Frankly, I noticed this a long time ago and may even have started a thread on this before, but could not find it.
My iPhone displays more albums/files than Mac. All of these albums/files are my uploads. It just seems like the Mac version is missing some of them. I can give specific examples if it comes to it.

Please take this steps carefully and help me know if it solves the problem.

  1. Log out from LOOP cloud in VOX.
  2. Click on LOOP icon in menu bar -> Quit
  3. Quite the VOX app itself
  4. Open Finder and press COMMAND+SHIFT+G on your keyboard
  5. Paste this path and hit enter:
    ~/Library/Containers/com.coppertino.VOXCloud/Data/Library/Application Support/
  6. Find "LOOP" folder, delete it and empty trash.
  7. Start VOX app, sign into LOOP and check again.

I followed these steps, but it made no difference.

Puzzling... Please specify few albums not listed on Mac.

There is an album called “Live in Montreal” by John Digweed. That is the one that comes to mind immediately. When I look on my iPhone, I see 6 continuous files (about 1.5 hours long each). When I look from my Mac, I see 80 files. To check on these, search for “Montreal” in my library.

Now, it may be the case that this has to do with how Vox parses .CUE files (not sure if it does). When I recall more albums that are missing, I shall let you know.
