VOX for mac (System Preferences Version)

#1

I downloaded your prefence pane app. It is in my preference pane, but the the @#$#@$@ do you play an MP3 file using this thing?

really guys. slick minimal interfaces are wonderful, but you cannot break user assumptions and still have a workable app!

or is my install just busted? WTF?!

Dan, I am sorry but I don't understand Your message - how can I help You? Could You please describe the problem in steps so we can reproduce it?

Sure.

— I installed your VOX application. (the one from the Apple App store)

— It advertises a VOX application which is “not in apple’s sandboxl”

— I understand this, so I delete the VOX.app and I install the application which is not in the sandbox.

— It installs as expected, and shows up in the preference as expected, but I cannot actually PLAY
any music.

— There are no controls I can find. No application I can find. nothing to associate with the .mp3 file association.

I am guessing I am doing something wrong.
But really, if you install an app, there should be an app….. right?!

it seems VOX’s install is at odds with 99.99% of the Mac apps
(or perhaps my system really is busted?)

thx for the help,
—dan

Hi Dan,

Preference Pane in only an add-on to the VOX itself which allows you to control VOX with media keys on your keyboard such as F7, F8, F9.

Please make sure to install the latest version of VOX with the link:

And let us know if you need any assistance.
