I tried your app on my late 2011 MacBook and it failed... deleted
If an app fails even once to do the simple thing that it was designed for in my estimation it fails. It stopped being able to play songs.
Going back to using iTunes which has annoying aspects, but always plays songs and burns mixes on cd's, which is what i use it for.
VOX doesn't work on my late 2011 MacBook Pro
Ineglio,
We appreciate Your estimation.
if You accept further help with VOX, please supply VOX version, OSX version, and what exactly happened when VOX "failed"? Because VOX works fine for so many people worldwide, therefore, if it didn't work for You, there has to be a reason for this I should have known of...
click play on a song within a group of songs and then it just
skips through
the song titles endlessly without playing the sound
used the latest version of Vox downloaded from your site last
week... it
updated once and did work for a while (a week or so)
OSX version 10.9.5
oh ya, i was also annoyed that Loop turned out to be a trial and
then
stopped working... as soon as something like that happens (ie.
something
has to be payed for)... i'm out
Were these songs from Loop of locally available on Your mac? Which format were the songs?
ya, they were mp3's from a folder on my hd
the reason i tried Vox was because i was disgruntled with how
apple keeps
making itunes less functional with each iteration... i thought a
more
simple music player would be great.... i liked it at first
Kevin, VOX would play mp3's normally, that's confirmed by endless number of users... I am afraid the problem is not in VOX. Have You tried to play another album?
The behaviour You described is usually attributed to missing or corrupted audio files, or, OSX not allowing VOX to access folders (Apple Sandbox bug)
everything played fine for about a week... then the glitch
happened
could be a lot of things... ever since apple tricked me into
upgrading to
the newer OSX the mac is glitchy
anyway, i'm sure that your software is great... best of luck
