Visualizer?

#1

Hi was wondering, do you plan to eventually introduce a visualizer in some future update? This is already the best media player but that would put it over the top.

Also another small question, is there a way while listening to Playlist on shuffle to see it jump to a track in the main display as well? It'd be nice to see the song in the context of the album/surrounding tracks.

Daniel, thanks for support.

Currently, no visualizer is planned, but that may change if we see enough requests.

Regarding second question - have I got it correct, You want "next track" info on main display?

I meant could it jump to the currently playing track's position in the
playlist. For example, track 1172 is playing
and in the main display you see it in the context of the surrounding
tracks. Then on shuffle it jumps to track 1503 and in the main display you
see it amidst 1502, 1504 etc. Winamp used to do this and it was great.
For some reason it feels strange to be staring at one small portion of my
large playlist while it's shuffling through all of it.

And I hope the visualizer idea catches on! Thanks for entertaining the
notion.

Daniel, that's interesting.

Currently it's different philosophy in VOX. The playlist is a collection, which is kind of library item. The analogy of Your "playlist" now is queue - which always displays what's playing and what will be playing, and remembers what has been played.

And, You can always jump to currently playing track in collections using "cmd+L"

That makes sense. Could be cool to have it as an optional setting.

Thanks for the cmd+L tip, was not aware!
