Is is possible to do manual sync between my Mac and VOX for iPhone?
I.E., Can I manually transfer FLAC audio files from my Mac to VOX on my iPhone?

To be clear...
Respectfuly, I am NOT interested in using LOOP to sync FLAC audio
across devices; I need a solution to manually transfer FLAC audio
without the need for a cloud service like LOOP or iTunes Match.
If it doesn't already exist, I WOULD be more than willing to pay for this manually transfer/sync functionality, so Coppertino is compensated for your work on VOX for iPhone - perhaps as an In App Purchase option.
Having just done this, I can confirm that you are able to transfer FLAC files through iTunes ( iTunes > Device > Apps > File Sharing > Vox )
There is currently a bug that sorts tracks alphabetically instead of by album order, but the developers have stated that they are working on it.
Hi josh,
I managed to transfer some files via iTunes to VOX for iPhone. At
least they are shown in iTunes beneath the folder "Downloads". I
did not succeed to transfer them into this folder. And I dit not
succeed to find them in VOX for iPhone after syncing. So I cannot
play them. Any hint what I am missing?
I just found: the transferred files are shown in the library. I was searching in collections. So direct sync vis iTunes file sharing is working.
Unlike the last post, mp3 content I have added to VOX from iTunes through direct file transfer is not appearing in the 'Library' section of VOX. Any idea what I am doing wrong?
Hi Paul,
Could you please tell us the version of your VOX?
Also please provide us with the sample of such file, so we could test it out on ur side.
Looking forward to your reply!
VOX 1.0.4 (seems to be the latest available from the App Store) on my iPhone which is running the most recent iOS. The files I am trying to load through the direct App files method in iTunes are these:

Obviously not music but presumably that shouldn’t matter.

Hi Paul,
We've just tested it and these files appeared in VOX after we've transferred them via iTunes -> Apps -> File Sharing.
Could you please tell us how exactly you were uploading them?
Also please make sure that iTunes is enabled in VOX as a Source.
P.S. They are shown as Unknown Album in VOX.
Ok, I didn’t realise that direct transfers would be counted as iTunes, I thought it was the iTunes library content only. I had disabled the iTunes part since I have so many iTunes files it would be hard to find the right ones.
Unfortunately I still cannot find the files, can you let me know what I would search for to see them. I searched for Unkown and I have a lot of Unknown albums in my iTunes library but these individual files don’t seem to show up.
Separating direct transfers and iTunes local libraries would I think be beneficial since some users may well want to keep Vox and iTunes separate and if they do there is no way to get files in (other than Loop) without seeing both libraries.

Could you please try to upload them once again?
They should be named as "podcast-republique"
Looking forward to your reply!
Unfortunately I am still not able to see the files. If I search for ‘podcast’ nothing returns. If I look in iTunes in the Apps section at the files for Vox it shows the ‘Downloads’ folder and the podcast mp3 files.

Hi Paul,
We will try to investigate and fix these issues in the future. For some reason we are currently not able to reproduce this issue on our end.
In any case - please feel free to write us back if any questions arise.
