What sort of upload rates should we typically be expecting? I am uploading from a campus connection and the rate is much slower than other cloud-based services I typically work with. Currently looking at 12+ hours to upload 130GB.

There is no such definition as "good speed". It can be normal, or
horrible. I think all, that higher than 1Mbps can be considered as
normal. In Your case, it's more than 10GB / hour and it will be
roughly 3Mbps
It's pretty good speed. Please note that it also depends on Your
internet provider and connection type.
