I love this option, as it can help prevent upsampling of 44.1, 48, and 88.2kHz files for me. However, my DAC only supports up to 96Khz even though my Mac is capable of outputing up to 192kHz. It would be nice if there were an option to set a "max" at which Vox begins to downsample any files with higher sample rates, i.e. 176.4 and 192kHz files get downsampled to 96Khz while 96, 88.2, 48, and 44.1kHz files all play at their native sample rates.
It would also be fantastic if Vox captured the global sample rate at opening and returned the system to that sample rate whenever not playing songs or on quit. For example, I keep my global sample rate at 96Khz. If I play 44.1kHz files with the "Syncronize Sample Rate with player" option enabled in the current version of Vox, my global sample rate stays at 44.1kHz even on quitting Vox. I'd like it to return to 96kHz when not playing songs or on quit.
