Suggestion to users, not Vox: for iOS control of Vox, use Rowmote/Airfoil Remote

I can't figure out how to reply to discussions, even though "everyone can see and reply to" public discussions. So to users wondering whether you can control Vox with Remote app in iOS, here's what I found, since I had the same question (it's a nice alternative if you don't have an Apple hardware remote):

  • It seems like Apples Remote app designed to be used specifically with iTunes.
  • I just tried controlling Vox with Rowmote, which I've had for a long time and really like. Seems to work just great so far. I have Rowmote Pro installed, but I think the 99¢ standard version should work just fine, since the "Pro" features are for more complex remote functions.

Update: If you play audio through Rogue Amoeba's Airfoil, then their Airfoil Remote iOS app is even better—it's less complicated (it just does audio), with a much more intuitive interface.
