Sort on Album Artist

This has been brought up a twice before, but it’s been a few years:

Sort library on Album Artist

Can you please add the feature: sort my itunes library on Album Artist. And when the Album Artist tag does not exists it will look at the Artist tag. My library is a mess with al the Various Artist albums I have. Thanks in advance! Me like the app!

Album Artist Support

I make fairly extensive use of the 'album artist' tag as well as the 'artist' tag to handle compilation albums and just regular albums that have guest verses. iTunes supports this id3 tag but Vox doesn't, so my albums appear as multiple albums rather than one group by 'album artist'.

Is there any chance we could get sorting based on the Album Artist tag not just the Artist? The Artist tag frequently includes other accompanists and Vox treats tracks with different Artist tags like they belong to a different album. Using the Track tag to catalog the accompanists is pretty messy, I would love to see this feature included in Vox!

It is exactly how it works in the VOX Cloud tab, if you store your music tracks in VOX Cloud.

However, if we are speaking of any other sources synced to VOX app, like iTunes or Spotify - we can only sort those tracks according to the information provided by their API.

Anyway, I will collect your request and see if there is something we can do about it.
