Songs in uploaded albums playing in the wrong order

HI,

I have seen a similar question posed in 2020 and I tried the solutions listed there but without luck.

I have uploaded albums recently that are playing in the wrong order. I’ve deleted them, corrected incorrect tags where necessary, re-uploaded (from different locations, as AIFFs instead of the original FLACs) and they still play in wild orders.

I’m using Version 3.7 (Build 3700.1) and Mac OS Ventura 13.6.1 (22G313)

Is there a solution to this?

The songs appear to be playing in the correct order on my ios app, but not through the mac OS app, if that helps.

Solved! Okay, I just wanted to comment on this and highlight my foolishness in case someone else has a similar problem. Somehow, and without knowing it, I had selected “Shuffle” in the Control menu. I can only think that I was trying to perform the command “save as’” in another application, but did not realise that I was in Vox whilst doing it. This meant that every album was shuffling rather then playing in order. I feel a bit stupid now, but in fairness to myself, having the keyboard shortcut for “shuffle” being the same as “save as” in most applications was perhaps bound to cause confusion! Hope this helps someone
