Smart playlists

#1

Hi,

I'm new to Vox and want to learn more. I really like the sound quality!

In iTunes, I normally used a smart playlist that was based on a song not being played for the past 4 months. This playlist was importd into Vox.

So my questions, which may be simple are:

when Vox syncs with iTunes, do play counts get updated? (In iTunes, it appears they are not).

Is there a way to create a smart playlist, or use an iTunes smart playlist, in Vox?

Thanks,

Richard

Hi Richard,

Thanks for your question!

Currently we don't have such feature for tracking play counts. But that's a great idea actually, we are considering implementing it.

going the anti-iTunes angle, but pro last,.fm, how about using last.fm play data to create smart playlists for songs found in the loop or locally?

I don't know last.fm. How would I do that?

http://www.last.fm/home

FOR FREE Last.FM will record all your plays from your media library.

Back to smart lists, VOX is able to interpret your song plays and send them to last.fm..

I wonder if VOX would be willing to incorporate a last.fm a user's library data as the "system of record" to generate playlist with Loop, soundcloud or Local files on iOS and OS X?

VOX would look at your plays and the smart rule set you have created and full fill the playlist based on what's accessible (local or streaming).
