Playlists based on CUE files

#1

Could you please add the option to create a Playlist based on the CUE files with all the individual songs instead with only the FLAC files?

I have two complete CDs burned as FLAC files each. There is an accompanying .CUE file and .log file.

If I dump both CUE files onto my VOX playlist, all the individual songs show up nicely with the accompanying tags: artist, album, length, year, genre, track no.

However, if I want to save both CDs in one Playlist VOX saves only the two FLAC files instead of all the individual songs.

Thanks

Hi there,

You can go with 2 options here:
1) Is only to add CUE files.
2) Open VOX -> Preferences -> Sources and under the Collections select "Add only the first playlist file available"

Please let us know if ou have any other questions!

Hi, thanks for your response, just to clarify, the 2 CDs I've mentioned have one big FLAC file and a CUE file each, no song details.

VOX has no problems playing the CUE files and I've tried the options you gave me but in all cases the playlist only have the big FLACs.

I found a workaround: 1. Open VOX 2. Add all the CUEs files I need to the regular VOX playlist, then I can see all the songs contained in the CUEs files 3. Clic option "Save Playlist as New Collection" 4. Assign a Collection Name and that's it, I can even user Shuttle, Repeat, Equalizer, etc.

It works but no physical Playlist (m3u, pls, xspf) are created, is useless if I connect my external drive to a Windows PC or another MAC without VOX.

Is there a space limit to save the Collections?

Thanks again.

Hi!

There is no space limitation, it just depends on how many space you have on your hard drive.

Please let us know if you have any other questions.
