Playlist vs Collections?

Is there a clear explination of Playlists vs. Collections? In iTunes you can create a "playlist" and then just choose songs from the Main library and associate it to a playlist. I'm a little confused exactly how to manage in this way with Vox. Is there a tutorial of sorts to clearly explain the interface and how to make best use of it? Thank you.

Generally, You are adding files to Playlist or to Collection (which is the same), and that's it. That's the way original playlist-based players work. If You need "Library" functionality - turn on iTunes support and/or use Loop.
