"Play Next" queue screwing up on reorder

#1

I just wanted to let you guys know that on the "Play Next" queue, if I click and a drag a song to rearrange the order, sometimes a completely different song (usually the one that is currently playing) will replace the song that I just tried to reorder.

As a side note, I also have a large (20,000+) iTunes library, and my VOX player tends to delay when I select an album, artist or click on a song. I'm guessing that it is loading the song, since there are so many songs and it has to find the file through the iTunes media file, but then again, maybe you guys have a different method of retrieving the songs. I don't know if this is something where you guys could optimize the sorting algorithm, but thought I'd mention it.

I'm running on Yosemite Beta (Version 10.10)

Love your software, and I hope that it can progress to become the default player across many computers.

John,

Thanks for feedback!

regarding queue reordering - can You confirm, please - what You are reordering - playlist, collection or Queue?

regarding iTunes Lib - Yes, it's challenge to work correctly with large iTunes library... We keep eye on this, as many people report this.

So in the latest update (2.2.9), the problem has changed. I was referring to the Queue, and when you tried to click and drag say, the third song up to the spot of the first, it would literally change that song to the currently playing song. However, with the latest update, now if you try to click and drag the third song up to the first spot, so that it would play next if you click next song, it just doesn't do it. But if you click and drag the first song in the queue to the third position, that works fine and everything moves up and gets reordered.

Also, as another sidenote, I noticed that the playlists imported from iTunes aren't listed in alphabetical order, is there any reason for this? It would make sense to me to have them listed alphabetically, since that is how it is ordered in iTunes.

Thanks!

John, could I ask You to try latest 2.2.11 version - some improvements to a Queue scenario are made there, as far as I know...
