NOT gapless playback

#1

Mornin' all !

Running Vox 2.5.1 and I really like it in pref. to iTunes - iTunes runs ME, and tries to sell me stuff. Just discovered how versatile Vox "Collections" is!

Lots of comments say how good Vox gapless playback is - but it seems to be the default setting. My music library is entirely classical - not "songs"! All separate tracks ripped from CDs in mp3 format. I can play my choice of tracks consecutively fine (like all 4 movements of a string quartet, for example) but I DO want a few seconds silence between tracks. I just can't see where i can choose that. There must be a gap/overlap setting on Vox somewhere but I can't find it.

Any suggestions? (I have Mac OS X Yosemite)

John,

Vox->Prefs->Audio->Advanced: Gap/Overlap->Enable
negative numbers on slider mean a gap between tracks. Currently You can choose 0..2 secs of gap
