Mute Button in Menu Bar

I often listen to streaming radio, but if I pause it, there's often times a long delay before the stream picks up again. A mute button, or at least options of buttons to be in the menu bar would be great.

Hey Paul,
you can use shortcut for VOX:
option+cmd+↓

Please note, VOX should be active.
