Increasingly, tracks I’ve already added to my library are going missing—or they’ll be tagged correctly and accessible in the desktop app, but when I go to listen to them on my mobile app, they won’t appear.
For example, I’ll have an artist I have 4 albums by, and it will display all 4 on desktop, but on mobile it will only display one of them. But if I type the album name into the search field, it’ll be there. And strangely, once I do that, it will appear at the very top of my albums list if I go into the library and sort by albums, artist --> title. But if I go back to displaying by artists, once again it’s nowhere to be found. (An album that has this happen to it often doesn’t have the album art when it shows up, but not every time.)
It doesn’t appear that there’s anything wrong with the files, because they play fine from the desktop app AND from the iOS app once I find them in the search bar, and they’re tagged properly when they’re logged on Last.fm.
Anyone else having this issue? If so, do you know how to resolve it?
