Loop constantly using >100% CPU on Catalina; "Loading" screen

#1

Hello,

I have Vox version 3.3.17, Build 3398.3; my machine is on Catalina 10.15.5.

I’m having a couple frustrating user experience issues with Vox on this system. One is that as soon as I open the application, Loop immediately uses between 80-120% of the CPU. This causes the computer to overheat, fans run on high, etc.

The other is that, when I select an album to listen to, I am routinely presented with the “Loading” screen for several minutes.

Any insight or recommendations for either of these problems would be great.

Thanks,

Matt
