I only use Vox to Play my Flac Files because the interface for Vox is just so unintuitive... As a Graphic Designer using Adobe Creative Suite On A Daily Basis as well as Final Cut Pro and Logic Pro, I find the Vox Interface to be so very convoluted for even the occasional user.
There seems to be a lot of confusion for users between Collections & Playlists... I can't tell you how many Untitled Collections and Playlists I've had to delete not even knowing how I made them trying to do something else or didn't mean to do.****
I love the Graphic Design and minimalist interface but functional it is not. If I have to read a manual to understand the most basic features of an App then it soon gets deleted from my MacBook Pro... I think this App could go Viral if you could just make everything more obvious. I find myself simply converting everything Flac to iTunes MP3s and using a minimal iTunes Bar or Box and leaving Vox to collect dust because listening to the FLAC files isn't worth the pain & effort to relearn the Vox Interface every time I launch it.
1> Get rid of Collections .. just have All Music & Playlists... both from itunes and outside itunes like my Flacs. If I have time I might just redesign your interface in Photoshop and send it to you...
2> All the Hidden features & icons need have a contextual menu or something so we know they're there and what they do.... or something ... i don't have all the answers but wish it was more intuitive for even advanced Mac Users.
