Importing m3u playlists into VOX not working for me :-(

#1

I read in the knowledge base that m3u playlists are supported in VOX but when I try to drag and drop a playlist file onto VOX, I don't get a list of the songs in my playlist. Actually, nothing happens. It shows the green "+" sign but when I release the mouse button, nothing.

Can someone help me get my m3u playlists imported in VOX. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Ken,

Could you provide us with such file, so we could test it on our side?

Thank you in advance!

Yes, I'd be happy to provide the m3u files. I've attached 3 versions
(difference being the way the root device is described in the path).

If there is a global search and replace you can suggest to make these work,
I'd appreciate it. They work a-okay w/ my older Slim Devices / Logitech
squeezebox/softsqueeze/Transporter ecosystem.

Maybe there's something unique about the m3u playlists for the old squeeze
ecosystem? I'm definitely no expert on audio and audio playlists but it
seemed simple enough to me.

Thanks for you help!

Ken,

It's possible that I don't get what exactly You want to do...

To work with Vox, paths have to be file paths, not smb share links. If You can see Your files in Finder, drag them to Vox, then You can save the playlist as m3u.

Please tell me if I can be helpful again...
