How to restore VOX fully and how to manage a very large music collection?

Hi,
Been happily using VOX as an "on demand" player without using the library facility. Decided to investigate the library facility. Asked it to make a "new collection" from my Music folder. This resides on an external disc and is large (> 500GB). Eventually it did so, but then I made the mistake of asking it to sort, and have effectively lost all functionality. I deleted the App and re-d/loaded from the App store. Now when I try to open the App it tries to reload everything all over again from the same point as before. How can I "clear VOX's memory" so that I can start over with a little more circumspection?
What's the best way of managing a huge music collection? Should I have a "new collection" for each band? Is there any real or effective limitation for file numbers? I'm currently reduced to using WinAmp (don't like iTunes).

No limitations regarding file numbers.
To manage your Library try to use Artist view, it should be much comfortable.

Have d/loaded and unzipped, but now what do I do? There's a Contents and Contents-1. Contents-1 is populated. Under MacOS there's an applet. Then there's Resources and Resources-1. What do I look for?

Many thanks. VOX now restored to full functionality :)

However, tried re-loading the music folder as new collection. Viewing in artist or album view appeared not to make any difference, and every track was shown for each album when in album view, so all tracks from all albums were always visible. What would be good is the ability to see the album titles without the individual tracks contained in the album, and then to (double) click on the album to reveal the tracks. Is that possible? Also, it appears possible to increase the vertical dimensions of the VOX window, but not the horizontal, so long track titles are not fully visible. Is this intended behavior?

Have gone back to using VOX as an "on-demand" player and loading an album from Finder. That works well and is much easier to search for individual albums/gigs.

Each tracks from one Album shows as separate Album, right?

About resizing. Unfortunately, there is no way to increase horizontal dimension, we are considering such feature for further updates, but there is no ETA for it implementation now.
