Hello Vladimir.
Please go to Preferences -Playback - Enable Crassfading

Hi Vladimir, you could watch the fading effect to learn its fading causes, and playing the next track like winamp fading between tracks, you could be industrious to every participation, to redress many fading tracks

Hello  , Dear VOX Developers ! Thank you for your reply . " Preferences -Playback - Enable Crassfading" works only if track goes to end from 1 to 16 sec. But my problem is to make   fading effect when i select next track while playing previous track at any time (not in the end only). I work with music background at the events. I Make music background  to different scenes in a real time by hand. I need do it with fading effect from track to track BY HAND not automatically when track goes to end like in winamp when you turn up next track by hand. I hope you understand me. Sorry for my english. Thank you for your answers. Best wishes !

Hello letterme. Thank you for your feedback.
We are analysing this feature how much it could be useful for our users.
Currently we are accurate in suggestion to make heavy music player.

Hello, dears ! Thank you for feedback. If you'd ever used the Winamp, you can understand my problem about fading. This feature as default in winamp. When you are tracking mp3 files one by one by hand in any time of playing song. New track changes the playing track smoothly. I hope its not hard to do in development your VOX . Thank you for reply

letterme, thanks for insights.

wanted to ask for Your opinion, what exactly this feature should do?

I mean, I understand it should fade-out old track, while starting next one, but should it fade-in next track, or should it just let it in as is? Because lots of tracks have well-prepared intros that would suffer from being brought in out of nowhere in, for, say, 10 seconds.

On the other hand, this sometimes may result in a volume buildup since two tracks play at one time and one of them is not fading.

If we decide to add this feature - we want to make sure we make it right.

Hi guys. Thanx for reply. I made a short video about my problem. I think you will understand my desire to improve your VOX a little . At the video you can see, how winamp is fading the tracks when i select one by one in Windows 7. And how its going with your VOX . You can hear the difference. I wish you do the same fading effect in VOX, please. Its very necessary and important for me and may be for others.  Thanx a lot.

Yes! Let me see if I can explain the winamp feature differently to make it better understood:

In Winamp, if you are halfway through a song and click the 'next' button, it crossfades from one track to the next. It does this at the end of the track automatically, but it ALSO does it if you manually advance the track. It's a very lightweight feature, and very handy for those of us who like to switch songs at our own points and still have a crossfade. Right now, Vox has a VERY short fade in/out effect, but it's so quick that it's almost imperceptible when advancing from one track to another. One way to implement this feature request might be to give the user an option of HOW LONG the fade in/out is, resulting in a crossfade of 2 or more seconds.

JD, thanks for explanations, but that is not exactly the same feature VOX has.

Yes, when "Fade In/Out on Play/Pause/Skip" enabled, there is very short cross-fade to make sure no crack happens when pausing/unpausing tracks. When skipping though, fade only applies to the previous track, so that next track starts playing intact - as it is intended by recording sound engineer. That's because the majority of tracks has more or less well-managed intro with fade-in or gradual start, and there is no need to apply fade-in to the next track. That's probably not the case with feature You want - where next track should fade-in as previous fades out. Or, am I wrong and it is enough to just fade out just skipped track?

I know the way it is done in Winamp, but we don't copy Winamp, we wanna make it right... So All Your input is very appreciated.
