Download my files from Loop/Vox

#1

Hi, brand new trial user here. I like the look of VOX on yosemite but I'm finding it awful on the iphone. BUT the mail reason why I won't be going the paid version is that you don't allow users to download their music files BACK, if they ever decide to leave. This is simply appaling. I love the idea of my files in the cloud and SO much better than iTunes constant messing up of my library etc, but I'd never upload all of my files, never to get them back again!!!

You really need to rethink this one. It cannot be a technical issue as cloud services everywhere allow up and downloading.

Would love to join up but ONLY when this is sorted,
Cheers

Philip

Hi Philip,

We're working everyday on improving everything.

You can right click on the desired albums and then choose "Download" but before this make sure to set up "Save Downloaded files to" under the Loop preferences.

Let us know if any questions arise.

Hi Vox,

Haven’t been able to upload to Loop yet as not at home.

One more question…..in the Vox window all I see are tracks listed.

How to I view and sort and p[lay by album and artist? I usually play whole albums, not single songs.

I cant see any way to choose tracks to play other than scroll through hundreds of them until you find what you are looking for.

I have about 40,000 itunes songs and I’d never make any sense of them as just a big list of unorganised songs.

I tried to make a simple playlist but couldn’t see how to do that either

I looked at the Vox page but there don’t seem to be any/many instructions for using this.

Am I being really dim, even for a total newbie user?

Cheers and Best Wishes,

Philip

Hi Philip,

Sorry for a delay. Are you referring to iOS or OS X version of VOX?

Basically you can see all the tracks under Loop tab, and sort them out under View -> Artist/Album option on the top.

For playlists we do have a Collections, to which you can easily add and maintain files.

Looking forward to hearing back from you!
