Hi
How I can configure BOX for use Audio units that isn't Apple, I have others but it doesn't appear.

Rvperes,
Thanks for using VOX.
Currently we enable only Apple AU's listed. That wasn't easy decision, but the majority of AU's out there simply don't adhere to Apple's guidelines, follow different standarts, brake away VOX's architecture or otherwise take more time than available for now to support.
I mean, fully supporting Audio Units other than available from Apple would take much more time than we can afford to assign for this task for now.
Now, I am not saying "forget about this". If there will be enough requests from users - we definitely take time and will add support for third-party AU.
I will repeat, this might happen at some point in the future. We just don't want to hurry and introduce even more bugs as result to incompatibility and diversity of third-part AUs.
Where is 'speed control' ..... that was so usefull feature!!!!!! How could u do it to vox... when upgrading my mac to maverics i don't recognize my-the-best-program VOX player... and old version doesn't work. Sad.
i mean 'time stretch' sorry....
I deal with music and that is so useful when practising playing
some bas or guitar lines.
Time stretch wasn't Audio Unit technology on Older VOX, but we currently estimate the need for this feature. Thanks for Your opinion.
Hello everyone!
I just want to know if is normal that Vox doesn't save the Audio
Units configured.
When I close Vox and reopen, all my AUs setup are lost!
Any solution?
Thanks in advance!
Hi,
We are solving this problem as we speak, could you please help us to investigate what exactly causes it in your case ?
Please do the following:
1) start VOX,
2) repeat operation with Audio Units that fails,
3) goto Console app (Spotlight-Console), in the search field, paste
this string:
ERROR enabling Audio Units:
4) And copy it back here with the number/string that goes after, if any.
Your cooperation here is greatly appreciated :)
Hello again and merry Christmas! ;-)
Coming back to my problem!
Actually the AUs works well, i did what you asked and there is any
error!
The real problem is that when I add one or more AUs to the Audio
Units window, Vox doesn't keep it saved, so when I close Vox and
reopen it, there is ANY AUs in the AUs window, all is lots and I
have to setup again my AUs. So the problem is that the AUs are not
saved once the program is closed.
Thank you for your help! ;-)
The same problem here! AU list is reset every time I restart the program. How do I save it?
Andi, Dennis, all You Audio Unit users!
Thanks for You valuable comments.
We are aware of the issue with AU chain not being saved, it's my responsibility and I will solve this as soon as other important task is done,
Thanks for staying with us.
Audio Units management has bees updated in 2.5, welcome for testing & happy listening! Please test.
