Album artwork not showing up for some albums in many places

A lot of my albums in Loop do not show album artwork when viewing my library on my iPhone and in the app for the Mac. This was a problem a while back and it seemed to be fixed for a while and now the bug is back. Most albums have artwork but some do not. My original files in iTunes ALL have album artwork.

Also, some albums that do have album artwork showing up in Vox on the iPhone do not show the artwork in the lock screen when a song is played on that album. Normally, if the album has artwork and the album is playing, when you view your lock screen it shows the album artwork and info and you can pause the song. But a lot of the time, no artwork shows up and if I look for that album in Vox, it does show artwork.

I am attaching 4 images. One is part of the library with several albums that should have artwork, not showing any artwork. Another is the lock screen playing a song from an album and not showing artwork, and the other is that same album with artwork in Vox. The last is another song playing and the lock screen how it should look with artwork.

One screenshot seemed to not upload. Trying again. This is the one of the album showing artwork in Vox but it doesn't on the lock screen.

I am having a similar is not exact same issue. I have some albums with no art on my phone but there is art for them on desktop and vice versa.

Curious, how VOX handles art. Is the player looking for art in the Loop library file or is it looking for it to be embedded on the tracks. Then, when not embedded (or not found), does it go to a service to look for art if available?

As far as I can tell, all of my music contains artwork. In iTunes if I get info on any of the particular files that aren't showing it in Vox, it shows the album artwork. Also, I've created a smart playlist in iTunes with the rule to match "Album Artwork is false" and there are no items in this smart playlist.

I don't think I am as organized as the other fellow. But I would say that
80% of my FLAC folders have an image inside of the album art that I am
uploading to Loop. I think very few are embedded.

This is fine; I want to know how Loop handles artwork so I can adjust
accordingly. So far as I can tell, Loop looks for a folder.jpg file in the
folder with the FLACs. If Loop can not find that image file, it uses a
third party plug in to find suitable artwork.

What I am curious about is the inconsistency between the two Vox's. Some
albums have artwork on Vox Desktop and none on Vox iPhone and some have
vice versa. Which leads me to think that Vox desktop uses a different
service or search scheme than Vox iphone uses.

Don't get me wrong, I like the app and I am willing to contribute more
artwork on my end. I am more curious on how it works and why it's
inconsistent.

April 2019 99% of my artwork has disappeared from both my iPads. All good on my Mac Pro. I’m guessing an update may have caused this? Is it possible to update the app to restore artwork. Alternatively should I cancel my subscription , rejoin and reload everything. This is a shame as the app was so good!

Same thing here. NO ART WORK IN ANY OF MY DEVICES since yesterday!
