What does the headphones button do?

I just installed VOX on my Macbook Air.

To the right of the volume slider there is a button for EQ and another for Headphones.

I clicked on the headphones button to see what it did. A menu appears below with the head phones icon and the word ‘Headphones’ but that’s it. I clicked it, nothing happens.

What is the headphones button supposed to do?

This button is to open output list in VOX app.

VOX version + OS version?
How did you manage to download VOX app? From our website or from AppStore?
