Vox Universal latest (0.8.x) won't start

VOX Universal 0.8 would quit immediately after start. Console gives the following information:

How to fix this? I tried to use AppCleaner to completely remove VOX Universal app from my Mac, restarted my computer, but nothing helps. VOX Universal is unusable at this moment. macOS 10.14.6 user here.

Have you tried to upload any .dsf files? I got the same behavior (but a different crashed thread) when I tried to upload .dsf files.

Thanks for your attempt to help. Unfortunately, VOX Universal would quit shortly after start even without the internet connection. Also, I haven’t uploaded any .dsf files.

Is there a way to reset VOX Universal app, so it could at least start? It’s unusable for 5 days already.

Do you have VOX for Mac installed? VOX Uploader?

If so, make sure VOX and VOX Agent are not running.

If that doesn’t work, try signing out of all VOX apps that you can get to run and then restarting your Mac.

Then try to run VOX Universal again.

You could also try to get an earlier version of the beta and install that after uninstalling v0.8, then let Universal update itself.

I re-installed the older versiom, then it auto updated to 0.8.19 and now it’s working. Many thanks for the tip!

Same issues with Universal. Crashes immediately, won’t open. The old uploader doesn’t work either. Tried signing out/closing out of all Vox apps and shutting down the computer to no avail. Cannot upload music period.

Just saw a previous reply and I’ll try re-installing the old uploader.
