Playback Too Slow

My Vox 2.8.8 for Mac has suddenly started playing all FLAC files, old or new, at what sounds like 2/3rds the proper speed.

Any ideas?

This is really strange behavior indeed...
When playing slowly, is time counter still counting seconds correctly? Does it have slower tempo? Does It sound like pitched down too?

It’s hard to tell but it looks like the seconds are moving more slowly. The tempo doesn’t sound slower to me.

It definitely sounds like it’s pitched down.

I tried reinstalling the app. And this is for all my files, new or old.

Have You used Audio Units with Vox? Please try disabling them (cmd+option+4).

That totally worked. I have no idea what Audio Units is or how I might have enabled them. Can you explain?

I don't know... Vox does not enable them by itself... This is special for those who need to add effects to music.
