Can't play flac on iOS from premium

I signed up for premium and uploaded some flac. Everything works fine on my Mac. My iPhone Xs cannot play the flac I uploaded - though I can see them in the collection I created on the Mac. In settings I have “0 bytes” downloaded. What should I do? Everything else plays on the phone including my iTunes library and playlists. I have all the latest updates applied to my software.

Please advise if you can see those tracks in the Library view on your iPhone Xs?
What happens when you try to start playback using the Collections created on the Mac, now?
