Adding music to Library and syncing via Loop

#1

I'm new to VOX and in the process of figuring the player's features out.

There are some basic questions i have regarding adding music to the library and using Loop.

1. When i have a Loop subscription, is all added music automatically uploaded to Loop?
2. If you don't use Loop, where does VOX store the added music? Is this a customizable location/folder? Internally i have only a SSD, all my multimedia files are stored on an external HDD stack.
3. Is it possible to sync playlists or only manually marked albums?
4. Is it possible to have music on both Loop and on the local drive? The same goes for syncing?

Hi Mirko,

Thanks for your questions.

  1. You can manually drag-and-drop music into Loop, but as well you can set up a "Watched" folders.
  2. If you don't use Loop, VOX does not store it anywhere, it just allows yo to create your own playlists and collections.
  3. What exactly do you mean by sync playlist? The iTunes playlists or playlists inside VOX?
  4. Absolutely, you can keep your music on both.

Looking forward to hearing back from you!

Since i now have a subscription for Loop - thanks to your helpful answer in the other discussion - i will give the VOX/Loop system a try over the next weeks.

But your answers suggest, that this is the system i wanted to have in the first place. I will have sort of an online backup of my collection, a streaming option and can still use local folders for syncing and sorting to my preferences.

Thank you!
